Encore takes your privacy very seriously, and they’re dedicated to providing you with the best possible music experience. Across all of their communications – whether that’s social media, advertising, or even email – they want to make sure they’re delivering marketing messages to you from themselves personally and effectively. That way they show up in the right place at the right time.

To do this, they will occasionally need to share some information about you to their partners to ensure that you get personalized updates from Encore themselves.

Manitoban’s have certain rights around how companies collect, use, disclose, and share personal information. Encore wants to deliver the best possible experience to you, the fan, while maintaining this level of privacy. To deliver this experience, they use industry-standard advertising business practices that may be considered a “sale” under the Manitoba Consumer Privacy Act.

What does that mean though? Here’s how that information might “sell”:

  • By allowing advertising networks with whom are partners of Encore's to place cookies or other tracking technologies through the site; and

  • By sharing hashed or pseudonymized identifiers with advertising networks to create audiences for use in online advertising

Manitoba residents have the right to request:

  • Disclosure of personal information that is collected, used, disclosed, and sold about you;

  • Deletion of your personal information that is maintained; and

  • To opt out of the sale of your personal information.

Just a heads up, Encore does not knowingly sell personal information related to children under 16 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about our practices regarding childrens data see our privacy policy or contact Encore by emailing
